What parents are saying about West Hills...
When our
oldest son reached preschool age and we began to look into elementary schools
in the area I asked my wife to take the lead on the research process. Not
because I didn't want to do the work, but because my mind was made up - I
wanted my boys to have the same Christ-centered school experience I had by
walking the same halls I did. But I wanted her to feel as strongly as I
did. After visiting the local public school, visiting another
Christian school, meeting several teachers, observing a classroom, and
reviewing curriculum, she was convinced that West Hills was the
best. And the greatest thing is, over the past several years West Hills
has become as special to her as it always has been to
me.

We chose West Hills Christian when we were looking because we
wanted to send our children to a developed private school that wasn't associated
with a church and church politics. We sought Christian education that
wasn't just a Chapel once a week but truly integrated into their education. We love West Hills because it has been a school that is
committed to the educational and faith development of our children. It
reinforces the values and faith we teach in our home and exposes our children
to a wide variety of faith denominations. Families with similar values
and focus on faith and family are drawn here so it is a great environment not only
for our children but for us as parents to have fellowship with other families.

We sought out
West Hills because of our personal experience of knowing kids that had attended
West Hills Christian. Now attending excellent colleges, they are well
rounded, well mannered, productive, fun, hip kids that you pray yours will grow
up to be like. What keeps us is the superior education, amazing
teachers and staff, fantastic music program, science, computer lab, and
physical education. Finally, we have great appreciation after being in a
public school of the peace a Christian curriculum brings. Reading
the bible and working through scriptures sets the tone for the day and
has been the core to helping our daughter navigate through at times tough but
normal kid stuff.

We
chose WHCS because we did our research on the following: academics, religious
instructions, class size, teacher quality. We looked at 8 public and private
schools and based on all our research WHCS was the one that excelled in all
those areas. One of the main reasons we stay at West Hills is our son's teacher, she is amazing. He gets upset
on the weekends because he doesn't get to go to school. The other children and
parents are godly, kind, disciplined people. Seeing our son so happy at school
has been the biggest blessing! What we love most about West Hill is the staff
they are amazing!
