Funding a Vision, Leaving a Legacy
Established in 2000, the West Hills Christian School Foundation was conceived to provide a permanent funding source for West Hills Christian School. The fund is designed to ensure that future generations would have access to West Hills' quality Christian educational program at an affordable price. The Foundation also provides a 'safety net' that would temper future unforeseen economic challenges. It is important to us to ensure that what we have today will be here for generations to come.
In recent years, West Hills families have already reaped the benefit of the Foundation. Income from the Foundation was instrumental in spring-boarding the school's capital campaign to successful levels. Additionally, it has provided financial aid to cover some emergency needs of families, allowing the school to retain a number of students who might not otherwise have been able to stay.
We offer a number of resources to assist you in making the most of your gifts to the Foundation. These include:
- Sample bequest language for your Will
- A series of Case Examples that clearly illustrate the variety of arrangements that can benefit you, your heirs, and God's work
- Access to professional services of a CFP/CPA who has 30 years of experiences in the area of planned giving
As a registered 501(c)(3), all gifts to the Foundation are fully tax deductible. A copy of the Foundation's bylaws and investment policy may be obtained by contacting the Development Office at 503.977.5503.
