Clubs

Grades vary

Throughout the year, we offer several clubs for our students to participate in. Clubs at West Hills are run by various members of our community and exist to allow students to explore areas of personal interest. Our clubs vary from year to year depending on interest. Examples of some clubs that have been offered in the past are:

  • Minecraft: K-8th graders use a platform they love to learn about STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) through specific build challenges, Redstone tinkering and collaborative builds.
  • STEM Club: K-5th graders explore an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.
  • Chess Club: Open to students from K-8 who are interested in learning more about the game of Chess. All skill levels are invited to play and to learn.

Note to current families: Registration forms are available on the parent portal under “Resource Documents.”
